About the Position

We have a phenomenal opportunity available for an experienced Internal Communications Manager to make a difference at Kraft Heinz! This position lies within the Continental Europe (CE) Business HQ and is located in our Amsterdam office. You’ll be working in a robust team- alongside peers always seeking to reach the next level for Comms to play a role as strategic asset for the company. This role reports into the Corporate Communications Manager Continental Europe and focuses on building and executing an outstanding internal communications strategy in Benelux (40%) and contributing to CE HQ (30%) strategy. You’re constantly driving improvement activities through a growth mindset- further engaging both our internal and external consumers.

In brief- you will be responsible for;

Internal communications (70%)

  • Propose- execute and deliver comms strategy for the Benelux country
  • Contribute to the internal comms plan- agenda and its periodical routines within our Continental Europe business unit
  • Generate and implement new ideas for content and fresh formats in line with communication strategy and with the evolving needs of our internal partners in a hybrid way of working
  • Design and embed cross-functional communications templates- frameworks and guidelines for internal communications
  • Develop key messages to support campaigns/projects- ensuring alignment with corporate narrative and serve as project coordinator
  • Ensure compliance with content standards
  • Coordinate- host and follow up on internal events and activities- such as learning sessions- Townhalls
  • Driving projects related to Diversity & Inclusion

External communications (30%)

  • Contribute to building and developing our external corporate communications strategy and execution (i.e. earned media/press- LinkedIn)
  • Connecting with our external PR agency to further drive external exposure and build company positive reputation



Hard Skills and Capabilities

  • At least a completed bachelor degree
  • 3+ years demonstrated ability in internal communications or a similar position (strategic or marketing communications- public relations or related experience)
  • Proficient English and Dutch is required.
  • Excellent writing skills- Powerpoint champion and strong competencies related to artwork and visualization (e.g. Canva)
  • Strong ability to lead and drive projects from communications perspective. Ability to deal and coordinate with a lot of different partners in the CE BU and with different countries
  • Experience with video editing and digital communication is a strong advantage
