Description & Requirements

Reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer- the Junior Graphic Designer is a creative resource sitting within “The Kitchen” – an in-house creative services team within KraftHeinz. The role is a hands-on one that’s ideal for an individual with a strong desire to learn from a senior designer and upskill in varying pieces of design work including social- product concepting- web- POS and other. “The Kitchen” is a newly created in-house creative service team that supports the marketing function and broader KraftHeinz organization with delivering a high volume of creative. The teams primary responsibility is to support always on comms for our core brands Heinz- Golden Circle and Watties across our owned ecosystem.

This position could be based in either Melbourne (Australia) or Auckland (New Zealand).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of the desired design outputs (concepting- social- web- POS and other)
  • Maintain digital asset management platform for brand assets
  • Collaborate with team members across Australia and New Zealand
  • Eagerness to learn from senior team members

Required skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Clouds InDesign- Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Photography or Videography an advantage


  • 1-2+ years of working experience as a graphic designer
  • Social content experience required
  • Understanding of basic graphic design principles
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once
  • Articulate and concise in verbal and written communication
  • Strong adaptability to change and resilience
