Kraft Heinz IT intern

We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Bachelor/Master student who is interested in making a difference in IT at Kraft Heinz!

The positions

This is a role for someone who craves a global challenge balanced by the desire to be accountable for delivering for Kraft Heinz.  We would like to have a motivated intern to join the team. There are three IT positions within Kraft Heinz:

  • IT management intern
  • IT finance intern
  • IT Analytics intern

Tasks throughout the available roles can include:  

IT Management Intern:

  • The role of IT is to drive digital transformation for Kraft Heinz. Working with all areas of the business- we are here to change the way business is done.
  • An internship with us will give you experience of a REAL role in the information technology department. You will have chance to work in various areas- such as IT operations- employee services- functional process transformation or analytics.
  • In all cases- you will be responsible for results- working as part of a diverse team. You will work with internal customers- third parties and across the global IT organization. We will trust you to deliver.
  • This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to experience a graduate IT role in the consumer goods industry.

IT Finance Intern:

  • Trending and Data Analysis
  • Consumption reporting and understanding of cost drivers
  • Month end Close; Prepaid and Accrual Accounting and Controls
  • Global Recharge process and entries       
  • Supporting sub-package owners for renewals- forecasting- Risks/Opps and action planning
  • Trending and Data Analysis
  • Vendor Management - PO's and invoicing
  • IT Operations Support

IT Analytics Intern:

  • Analysing the demand and building roadmaps
  • Creating project plans and launching new training cohorts
  • Defining budgets and engaging with the teams to execute training projects
  • Setting up trainees for the new cohorts and delivering required information
  • Managing accesses and licenses
  • Managing communications with different stakeholders and leadership team
  • Creating content for the communications
  • Engaging with the analytics community and empowering people to build analytics capabilities
  • Sharing progress- updates and risks with the International Analytics team
  • Analysing past and current training performance and contributing to continuous improvement
  • Working close with Global Analytics team for the support on analytics platforms- training programs and best practices alignment

Job requirements  

  • You are enrolled at a European university during at least 50% of the duration of the internship.  
  • You are nearing the end of your bachelor's degree or pursuing your master’s degree.
  • You have good knowledge of the English language- both written and spoken (Dutch is a bonus).
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office tools (specifically MS Excel- Word- PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • NOTE: EU working rights are required.

What we offer you:

Program start date: January/February 2022  

Duration: 5 or 6 months

Allowance: 625 euro per month (40hrs- 5 days) & full reimbursement of travel expenses

COVID-19 update: 

Like any other company- Kraft Heinz has been affected by the regulations surrounding COVID-19. Currently- the Amsterdam office offers a limited number of workspaces to guarantee employee safety. In line with the upcoming government recommendations- Kraft Heinz is transitioning to a hybrid way of working in the near future.   


Kraft Heinz has adapted well to the COVID-19 restrictions and there is currently an online-onboarding day as well as an online hand-over period. You will receive the full allowance and a company provided laptop- as well as reimbursement to enhance your work from home environment.  Please note that this might change as we transition into the new ways of working.
