The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a Lead Coordinator - Process Control to work at our sauces- and pickles processing facility in Holland- MI.  Successful candidates must be willing to contribute improvements suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal candidates must be safety and quality orientated along with demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team orientated- fast paced work environment.  This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.
 

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires applied math skills- computer literacy- and ability to read- write and communicate in English
• Requires forklift driver’s license
• Must be familiar with all aspects and processes of Process Control department
• Candidates must be available to work all shifts including second- third & weekends and holidays
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred

Vacation

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Check prior days tanking activity and verify records. Review tank testing results and assign section leaders any necessary adjustment.
• Review floor count and determine shipment tanking- or production needs for product.
• Coordinate tank yard stock as to the area for different type of product and what is needed for the day’s production.
• Coordinate trucking activities of deliveries and loading/ unloading of product.
• Coordinate changing daily scheduling of labor- vacations. Assist supervisor in completing paperwork and recordkeeping for department. Coordinate department when supervisor is absent.
• Track and/or perform inventories for department use in order to utilize stock for maximum yields
• Follow safe practices and report safety issues to supervisor as they arise. Conduct monthly inspections as necessary- and report results including corrective actions taken to supervisor.
• Ordering salt as needed from outside vendor. Track usage both physically and on computer.
• Perform minor mechanical work i.e. patch hose- clean Tempco pump as needed.
• Responsible for monitoring and communicating any process or product abnormalities to your Supervisor- Team Leader- or Line Technician.
• Performing Good Sanitation Practices (GSP’s) when handling equipment.
• Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
• Perform all required observations and training timely and as scheduled.
• Support Plant Quality Systems.
• Operators could be used on other lines and CMF operations for business needs.
• Responsible to follow FSQ requirements such as GMP’s and other daily/job specific duties to support QRMP.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
