Description & Requirements

The Lead DEIB will report to the Global Head of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging, with a dotted line to the Chief People Officer of North America. The successful incumbent will be a strategic thought partner, trusted advisor and change champion. This role is for an inspiring leader as you will collaborate across departments in our North America business, the largest zone in the company, analyzing data, and crafting impactful interventions that challenges the boundaries of DEI&B.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Help shape our future by using data to advise the DEI&B strategy for the North America Zone, creating impactful goals and action plans aligned with business objectives and global DEI&B philosophy.

  • Innovative and proactive in your approach and challenge standardize process' to drive real change.

  • Conduct in-depth assessments of various zones, identifying areas for improvement and tracking progress over time. Be the champion of continuous improvement and celebrate wins, big and small.

  • Design and launch impactful DEIB programs, using data and standard methodologies. Think beyond the "usual suspects" of DEI&B programs. From innovative learning experiences to impactful recruitment strategies, design and implement initiatives that fuel real change and ignite a culture of belonging.

  • Data and research centric with the ability to uncover hidden DEI&B gaps and opportunities. Be the "data whisperer" that translates insights into action, measuring the impact of your initiatives and manage progress towards our global aspirations. Develop and implement reporting frameworks to regularly communicate results and demonstrate value.

  • Don't just talk about inclusion, make it tangible. Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and listening sessions that cultivate understanding, open communication, and empower collaboration throughout Kraft Heinz.

  • Equip leaders and employees with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to become DEI&B champions within their teams. Multiply your impact by creating a network of change makers across the organization.

  • Support and guide submissions for external benchmarking surveys and awards, showcasing Kraft Heinz's commitment to DEI&B growth and excellence.

  • Champion diversity and inclusion at every level, promoting awareness and understanding of different perspectives and experiences.

  • Advocate for and implement innovative DEI&B practices. Be an Innovative Leader, staying abreast of emerging trends and standard methodologies to push the boundaries of what's possible.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, colleagues, and vendors to achieve shared goals, resolve challenges and drive significant change together.

Qualifications:

  • Exude the credibility and gravitas expected of a trusted advisor, influencing decisions and leading others without formal authority.

  • Previous experience in partnering with c-suite executives to develop enterprise level DEI&B strategy and influence organizational direction.

  • Proven track record to conduct enterprise level analysis on DEI&B initiatives and translate it into board-level reporting and presentations.

  • Track record of optimally leading and implementing impactful DEI&B initiatives within organizations.

  • Deep understanding of key DEI&B concepts and frameworks, including diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging and unconscious bias.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate DEI&B aspirations and initiatives into tangible business outcomes and illustrate ROI.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, able to engage audiences effectively.

  • Collaborative spirit, adept at building strong relationships across departments and levels.

  • Natural curiosity and growth mindset for innovation and trying innovative approaches.

  • Strong relationship building, partner management, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent project management skills.

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment

We believe our office environment fuels our collaboration, connection & community as an organization and allows our employees to grow toward greatness. We also believe providing a more flexible and agile model is essential in today’s workplace. A majority of our office-based employees will be able to work remotely for up to two days each week. Additionally, employees who are subject to this hybrid model will be eligible to work from anywhere for up to six weeks in a rolling 12-month period (in maximum two-week increments and according to benefits and tax guidelines). Some jobs may be required to be performed fully in office depending on the role’s responsibilities and requirements.
