Associates will perform equipment maintenance- inspection- modifications and troubleshooting duties in a food manufacturing environment- following strict product safety and quality standards. Interested individuals must be able to work in a fast paced- complex environment.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Responsible for wearing proper PPE- compliance of safety training- policy and procedures and report any unsafe safety conditions to a Supervisor/ Management
  • Exhibits safe work habits and encourages other to work safely
  • Participate in the QRMP audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions.
  • Oversee and lead the implementation of the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) system and operational standards as outlined in the plant accountability list.
  • Operation of equipment to optimize quality and productivity- adjustments- change oversee- troubleshooting and repairs.
  •  Preventative maintenance- developing- updating and executing the process
  • Equipment overhaul- modifications and installations.
  • Able to troubleshoot a fix various manufacturing equipment
  • Training of line associates.
  • Continuous improvement through innovation.
  • Ensure all products being produced meet quality specifications.
  • Execution of basic equipment maintenance- cleaning- inspection- lubricating- and adjusting.
  • Performs sanitation and assures compliance with sanitation standards.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing environment and/or as an a automotive technician preferred.
  • Able to demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
  • Able to safely and effectively operate power tools- hands tools- and electrical/instrument test equipment.
  • Able to work under a fast-paced work environment and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Appropriate time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Able to follow directions and ability to perform tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision
  • Exercises good judgment and decision-making skills- bringing up to the supervisor any issues outside of his/her scope of responsibility and control.
  • Able to work flexible schedules when needed.
  • Able to safely work at heights.
  • Safe work habits.
  • Able to use a computer.
  • Maintain an excellent attendance record / adherence to attendance policy.
  • Promotes teamwork.
