Description & Requirements

Position Summary

This role is the Finance Manager for a sub-function. Conducts and documents financial analysis projects.

  • Researches and analyzes economic/financial data to develop business strategies and tactics.
  • Provides reports and analyses of performance vs. operating budgets and overall financial results.
  • Formulates- provides advice on- and assures effective implementation of policy- practices- procedures- and systems in the areas of FP&A- and business model analyses

Primary Responsibilities

  • The Manager- Finance – USGO Capabilities acts as key finance business partner collaborating across the Kraft Heinz Company – USGO Capabilities Pillar (Insights- Disruption- Consumer Experience- Direct-to Consumer- Digital Marketing- Strategy) of the United States Growth Office (USGO)
  • Role reports into the Head of Finance – USGO Capabilities
  • Financial Champion driving Disruptive & Agile Innovation new product and business development financial support:
    • Cross-functional partnership (e.g. Commercial Business Units- Sales- Operations- Finance)
    • P&L and cash flow and business modeling
    • Sensitivity analytics
    • Risk assessments and recommendations
    • CAPEX request preparations and influencing
  • Leads innovation related financial planning- tracking & analysis across KHC- supporting Enterprise Strategic Plan and AOP requirements
  • Supervises Direct-to-Consumer and Customer Relationship Marketing accounting process- and monthly business review
  • Owns monthly routines and rituals to support in the delivery of US Capabilities zero-based budget- reporting and forecasting
  • Point person responsible for CAPEX and operational budget oversight of innovation/creative services areas
  • Partners on various ad hoc analyses and projects


  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Concentration in Finance- Accounting or Business preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of Finance or Accounting experience delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Influential with excellent leadership- communication- organizational- and analytical skills
  • Acts like an owner who is accountable- thinks critically- and has a know-how- can-do problem-solving mindset
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (e.g. Excel- PowerPoint)
  • SAP and Oracle systems experience preferred
  • Flexibility available to collaborate on occasion from our Glenview- IL Innovation Center and hybrid/remote working arrangement beginning January 2022
