Manager, PTP Strategic Business Partner at a glance

The Manager, PTP Strategic Business Partner is an essential role in the GBS North America PTP team with a specific focus on supporting designated process(es), plant(s) or corporate function(s) across the North America Zone (US and Canada). This role is the subject matter expert who will lead/participate in aligned area(s) PTP transformation projects, train/educate, provide insights, manage PTP risks, and increase adherence to PTP practices within their area(s) of responsibility.

What's on the menu?

  • Support Procurement, AP Ops, and Finances as their PTP Strategic Business Partner, driving P&L accountability, supporting major strategic initiatives, and leading analysis to optimize top-line growth and profitability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy of PTP inputs, ensure process adherence for PTP inputs into Procurement and AP systems.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support the visibility/reporting/insights of PTP process execution, results, non-value-added costs, and opportunities.

  • Partners in the modeling of business cases for new initiatives.

  • Prepare monthly management reports, variance analysis, trend analysis and financial review documents, highlighting key insights and business drivers.

  • Provide insightful reporting and practical commentary to explain variances between actual results and forecast, prior year, and prior period.

  • Provides ad hoc analysis to senior management.

Recipe for Success: Apply now if this sounds like you

  • I have progressive PTP/AP/Procurement/Plant Finance experience, with experience leading a team of professionals focused on process improvement for a multi-state or global company.

  • I have experience with SAP ERP and Ariba

  • I have experience with full cycle PTP management in a high-volume environment that includes manufacturing/plant operations as a key part of the business.

  • I have expert knowledge of NA (US and Canada) AP and Procurement regulations/compliance.

  • I have knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment
