Description & Requirements


  • Primary responsibilities will be to support- develop- manage and maintain relationships between federal- provincial- local- other governments- and appropriate agencies
  • Ensure Government Relations' alignment and strategy with Kraft Heinz visions and goals
  • Develop and deliver key priorities for Kraft Heinz Government Relations
  • Develop and execute local and global government relation strategies that align with Kraft Heinz local and global vision /strategy/goals.


  • Develop Government Relations strategies
  • Identify business development opportunities and writing business proposals
  • Create and implement strategic direction for institution’s government relations activities- supporting Kraft Heinz priorities
  • Conducts environmental assessment of institutions- develop accountability measures and communicates findings to stakeholders
  • Represents institution at senior level with external stakeholders and align with CVP - Legal- CA- P&P
  • Be aware of major policy and political developments as being driven by government
  • Reviews direction and progress of government relations plan with Director and members of the senior executive team as appropriate
  • Develop and maintain contacts with internal Kraft Heinz stakeholders- and external partners: media- industry- government- and post-secondary colleagues
  • Support the building and maintenance of strategic relationships with officials at the federal- provincial levels of government- as well as other public sector institutions
  • Work with stakeholders to develop recommend strategies for government engagement and works with local elected officials’ offices and others to produce successful outcomes
  • Manage external agencies (partnerships) as appropriate
