The Manager, IT- Capital Financial Planning & Performance Management will lead the International zone IT CAPEX financial portfolio through partnering with project managers in the development and approval of all Capital Appropriation requests. This role will collaborate with key CAPEX stakeholders which include corporate business planning teams, global Capex leads and the IT Leadership team. This role will be expected to manage the project portfolio by using analytical rigor to drive analytical insights, alignment and find opportunities for process improvements and global standardization. The manager will be expected to evolve the IT Capex program and serve as a strategic partner with leaders across the organization.

 

Main Ingredients:

· Responsible for partnering with the IT Executive Leadership team to prioritize the portfolio and subsequently work with project managers for preparation of quality cases, monthly forecasting, and monitoring compliance with required ProjectNow (Service Now software) subject areas and routines

· Own all Capex financials within ProjectNow for the International zone, including ZBB ongoing costs & project Opex costs

· Responsible for streamlining, driving efficiencies & building analytics to continuously improve all IT Capex PPM deliverables and processes

· Responsible for assisting project managers in preparing and gaining approval of Capital Appropriation requests, working with Business unit Budget Planning and Global Capex leads.

· Act as primary contact for IT organization regarding capital appropriation approval process and monthly financial routines

· Ensure timelines, budget and quality of project deliverables are monitored and non-compliance communicated to key stakeholders for monthly KPI metrics

· Monitor, consolidate, analyze and provide real-time and agreed periodical financial reporting of the International Capex portfolio for both IT and Global Capex leadership

· Perform deep dive analysis to deliver insights on the root causes of issues and make recommendations to inspire changes in business strategy to leadership

· Drive decision making and prioritization for the business through analyzing data, identifying trends and producing optimized capital deployment strategies

· Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and the presentation of data to help inform and influence key business decisions around the International organization

· Develop, spend, and schedule analytics and key metrics to help drive actionable strategies for the IT organization

· Proven track record in managing a Capex portfolio/budget

· Ability to make logical assumptions, incorporate external and internal information, and effectively benchmark results against appropriate baselines.

· Excellent skills with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint are required; experience with relational databases and general ledger systems (SAP) and Tableau are preferred

· I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience. MBA is preferred and relevant certifications (CPA, PMP, etc.) are a plus

· I have 4-6 years’ experience with Capital or Project planning, approval requests, tracking and analysis in support of an operating function (i.e. IT, Supply Chain, Facilities)

· I am experienced with ProjectNow Microsoft office or Tableau software preferred

· I can demonstrate the ability to work and think independently, analyze and interpret data, exercise professional judgment, creatively problem solve and define recommended actions to leadership

· I am able to multi-task with excellent planning and organizational skills and ability to consistently meet deadlines
