Description & Requirements


This role will be part of the EWM Product team specializing in the configuration of the solution under the guidance of the EWM Solution Architect. This team is designing the future state warehousing systems at both KHC owned factories and external warehouses. Kraft Heinz operates and maintains a portfolio of warehousing systems responsible for receiving- shipping- traceability and reporting on all inventory and distribution activities across the company.  The role will also require understanding of SAP WM- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)- Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and integration of warehouse automation systems. To have the ability to work on SAP enhancements requested by the business. This position will work closely with all internal and external business partners to understand future-state strategies and provide key input and leadership for shaping all logistical systems designs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • This role will be the configuration specialist within the EWM Product group for the development and implementation of KraftHeinz warehousing systems: WMS (Principally SAP EWM and ECC WMS)
  • Demonstrates business and process knowledge of logistics as well as the integration areas. Will be responsible for maintaining and developing expertise in this area.
  • This workstream includes working with internal and external customers to capture business requirements and apply these requirements to systems design and implementation.
  • Direct leadership of external contractors responsible for systems project management- implementation- and integration
  • Provide communications on all systems and project related aspects within the role to senior leadership.
  • Provide strategic and tactical guidance to warehousing leadership on the direction and design of warehousing systems
  • Lead joint project team through solution shaping of systems enhancement.
  • Provide core project management over all aspects of systems implementation such as: blueprinting- financial estimation and tracking- communication- development- testing- training- and hypercare support.
  • Be the focal point for project issue identification and resolution.
  • Prepare conversion plan identifying all necessary tasks- dependencies- responsible parties- and timeline for successful implementation.
  • Primary leader for all onsite project hypercare coordination and issue resolution to steady state business
  • Understand all forms of integration and automation touching the WMS like EDI- LGV/AGV- automated racking- warehousing ecosystem.
  • Innovation of new capabilities within the existing solutions that will provide value within Supply Chain
  • Provide guidance and support where necessary to IT support workstreams on the KHC template- for example SAP Keystone build.
  • Communicate effectively to all interested parties throughout project lifecycle.


  • Understanding/experience working in an agile development methodology
  • High standard of communication skills expected both oral and written
  • Ability to translate technical needs and successes of the pod to stakeholders
  • Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams from tech- design- and business
  • High standard of initiative and ability to work through issues expected
  • High standard of organization to plan and complete tasks in priority order expected
  • Relevant experience in a role on a software implementation project is advantageous
  • Strong EWM Configuration skills Consumer Products Industry experience desired
  • A sound knowledge of SAP (ECC/S4Hana) IM & WM HU processes including configuration- table maintenance and idoc segment structure
  • Expected travel approximately 10%
