Position Summary

We are a team of diverse players with different superpowers working within the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence. The goal of this team is to deliver a work class Talent Acquisition experience through the delivery of outstanding talent to our manufacturing plants partners. The Manager- Talent Acquisition Manufacturing Operations will lead and serve as the large-scale Talent Acquisition team execution leader to drive the hourly recruitment growth objectives for approximately 15 manufacturing plants across North America. Reporting to the Head of TA for Manufacturing Operations- this leader will be responsible for ensuring that each Recruiter delivers against the evolving hiring demands within manufacturing. The Manager will have accountability to meet and exceed recruiting goals and KPI’s.

This position is remote/field based with travel to our plants on a regular basis to further strengthen the partnership

What’s on the Menu?

  • Position leads a remote team of 3-5 Recruiters located throughout North America (US and Canada)
  • Coordinate the research- conceptualization and implementation of talent acquisition programs aimed at increasing the diversity- accessibility- and awareness to our communities within our manufacturing plants.
  • Regularly monitor the permanent and contingent labor recruiting- and diversity initiatives within each region and make recommendations regarding standard processes to improve results.
  • Maintain a steady pulse on current and future hiring needs considering fluctuations in production volume and attrition by facilitating planning sessions with Workforce Planning- HR and Plant Leadership
  • Create and implement action plans to address areas of underperformance and provide ongoing reports to Head of Talent Acquisition- Manufacturing Operations
  • Build presentations to support new recruiting initiatives and story tell through data- to highlight business impact and give insight to key partners.
  • Appreciation for data and utilization of reporting as a form of influence to drive impactful decisions.
  • Lead and track projects across multiple cross-functional teams including Diversity- HR- Legal- People Analytics- Labor Relations- Talent Attraction- and Plant Operations teams.
  • Collaborate with internal contingent labor partner to ensure the plants have the appropriate staffing support to meet production demands.

  • I have recruiting experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain operations environment as a people manager.
  • Exceptional planning- organization- and time management skills; ability to drive multiple and challenging priorities to completion autonomously.
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity and change while working with a high sense of urgency- flexibility- and prudence.
  • Strong relationship building- partnering- interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and incorporate feedback from a variety of customers- collaborators- and colleagues.
  • Using data and dashboards to assess the progress and effectiveness of our attraction strategies.
  • Ability to handle critical and confidential information appropriately.
  • Expert knowledge in all full life-cycle recruiting; motivated by proactive outreach- innovative sourcing- and talent community building across functional areas
  • Extensive experience using recruitment tools platforms- including ATS- CRM- and social networking tools; experience with Workday- or an equivalent a plus
  • Up to 25% required travel to assigned Kraft Heinz manufacturing plants to cultivate relationships with customers and team members.

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment
