Kraft Heinz Manufacturing/ Engineering intern

We have two excellent opportunities available for enthusiastic Bachelor/Master's students who are interested in making a difference in Manufacturing at Kraft Heinz. The positions are a part of our International zone and Global operations and report directly to the Head of Manufacturing Performance International or the Head of Global Manufacturing respectively.

The Position

Within this internship- we provide the opportunity to explore many aspects of Manufacturing through different functions- such as:

  • Maintenance & Reliability
  • Safety & Sustainability
  • Production Management
  • Supply Chain
  • Material Process improvement

Tasks throughout the various roles

These are global internships based in the heart of the business district of Amsterdam- which requires partners’ interaction across all business units in the company.

Some of the main responsibilities include:

  • Management of data collection for Manufacturing important metric activities at the sites globally.
  • Analyzing data to validate cost vs benefit.
  • Be responsible for data accuracy.
  • Optimizing interval time between the maintenance activities.
  • Support the digital manufacturing agenda.
  • Work on various exciting projects in the manufacturing field.

Qualifications:

Job requirements:

  • You are enrolled at a European university for at least 50% of the duration of the internship.
  • You are at the end of your bachelor- or in your master’s degree:
  • Education: Engineering / Supply Chain / Project Management/ Computer Science/ Econometrics.
  • You have good knowledge of the English language- both written and spoken.

NOTE: EU working rights are required! (Either you have EU Citizenship or you are studying in the Netherlands).

  • Eagerness to learn about Manufacturing and Performance in an international- fast-paced environment
  • Computer proficiency: including Microsoft Office Excel (advanced) and PowerPoint.
  • Communication Skills: At Kraft Heinz- you’ll easily be exposed to senior management- no matter your level. Therefore- it’s important you have excellent communication skills- to deal with all kinds of different partners.
  • Ability to Simplify: Your simplification will be highly appreciated when you provide simple solutions to dealing with complex challenges.
  • Analytical: We’re a very data-driven company. You can translate complex data into a simple solution with your analytical mentality.
  • Project management skills: Time management has no secrets for you. You’re organized- structured- and you know how to bring multiple projects to a successful ending within the given timeframe.
  • Team player: Self-motivated- flexible- and a great teammate who likes to work with people within a multicultural environment

What we offer you

Program start date: January 2023/February 2023.

Location: Amsterdam

Duration: 6 months.

Allowance: 625 euros per month (40hrs- 5 days)

Hybrid Policy:

Kraft Heinz has recently transitioned to a hybrid way of working- which means that we work 60% of the week in the office and 40% from home.

Exclusively remote work is not an option.

Please note that you need to relocate to the Netherlands for the internship.
