About the position

We have an exciting vacancy available in our marketing team! The marketing manager local brands reports into the Head of Marketing Benelux. In this role you will work on all our local jewels- developing and implementing the marketing activities to achieve ambitious portfolio growth strategies- backed by global resources and takeaways.

You’ll be treated as an owner from day one- working in cross-functional teams to drive category success while being supported by a close-knit team who will set you up for success and invest in your growth. Up for the challenge?

The Mission

  • Bringing back iconicity to our local brands. Reinforcing our mental market leadership is our key Job To Be Done and requires iconic and impactful communication and relevant innovations tapping into real consumer need
  • Drive the turnaround of the drinks and brunch business- to further drive our market leadership for Karvan Cévitam and Koninklijke De Ruijter. You will among others lead a national activation campaign- building and implementing the innovation pipeline for 2024+ and activate our brands in-store.
  • Tactical innovation launches for the rest of our portfolio- delivering business contribution and protecting market share.

The key three responsibilities that you will have:

1) Grow the drinks business by landing a new campaign for Karvan Cévitam in HY2 incl. campaign development- media strategy and new innovation support plan.

2) Deliver the innovation pipeline for Karvan Cévitam & Koninklijke De Ruijter as well as in-market delivery of first innovations incl comms plan.

3) Manage a team of 4 through a transformation and setting them up for success.



Must haves
Please kindly note that having an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order is required to proceed for this position.

  • 6+ years proven experience in marketing within the FMCG industry
  • Experience in leading diverse teams- developing strategic marketing plans and lead all aspects of the implementation and executions of cross functional teams.
  • Due to the nature of the portfolio- native Dutch speakers or high proficiency of Dutch are preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in English.
