The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a MaterialCoordinator 1 to work in our tomato paste, pizza sauce, salsa, peeled pear canned tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, tomato puree, and tomato sauce production area in Escalon, CA.  Ideal candidates perform duties in some or all of the following functional areas: cycle count rotations, investigation of discrepancies, inventory accuracy, and supply chain efficiency. In this role, you will be asked to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for yourself, and have the ability to effect business goals and partner/participate in Kraft Heinz wide projects.

Work Schedule:

  • During the months of July-October up to 7 days a week Monday-Sunday (1 day off) and mandatory Overtime Required.
  • During the months of November-June: Monday-Friday, generally with weekends off.  Some weekends required.
  • Overtime may be available based on business need

Job Overview:

Are your ready to join a fast-paced work environment with a team dedicated to producing high quality tomatoes found in more than 30 different food service products consumed all around the world?

Responsibilities & Duties:

May include, but isn’t limited to:

  • Responsible for maintaining accurate; minimum/maximum inventory levels of raw and labeling materials to fulfil daily labeling plan
  • Coordinate shuttle orders from outside storage to ensure ample stock on hand
  • Create daily labeling Process Orders (PO’s) and Transfer Orders (TO’s); utilizing relevant SAP/WMS transitions
  • Prepare, collate, and distribute daily Labeling packets (Includes line schedule and KHMS tracking forms)
  • Validate completed label line orders for accuracy and help resolve any issues to avoid production discrepancies
  • Track and input daily Labeling KPI’s utilizing Heinz Operational Tracking System (HOTS)
  • Ordering of materials and packaging supplies related to labeling and warehouse distribution needs
  • Fulfil Account Payable processes using preferred vendors in compliance with Kraft Heinz payment terms within Ariba system
  • Produce and distribute all necessary reporting to ensure accuracy of inventory and on time payment
  • Develop, track, and report meaningful KPI’s that show the effectiveness of MRP and other control efforts
  • Work closely with all departments in the education, use and promotion of continuous improvement
  • Resolve any issues resulting from incorrect entries related to SAP/WMS transitions
  • Complete operational transactions related to SAP/WMS incubation releases, inventory write-offs, and/or adjustments
  • Record and track daily labeling material scrap by Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) for accurate adjustment
  • Collaborate with Salvage/Liquidation/ Dent customers to schedule, create,  and process shipment of sales orders
  • Filing
  • Outbound Coordinator backup/coverage (In Season, 2-3 hours)
  • Customer pickup order allocations
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HS diploma or GED required

•       Strong interpersonal and organization skills

•       Previous experience with “WMS” Warehouse Management System(s), “SAP” Systems Applications and Product in Data Processing

•       Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, etc..)

•       Good written and verbal communication skills, preferably (English/Spanish) bilingual

•       Perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

•       Must be able to work independently without direct supervision

•       Ability to multi-task in a fast paced manufacturing/warehouse setting

•       Ability to be respectful, approachable, and team oriented while building a strong working relationships and a positive work environment
