Description & Requirements

Position Location: 735 E Bay St.- Jacksonville- FL 3220

Responsibilities & Duties:

·Install- maintain- overhaul- calibrate and test a wide variety of industrial instrumentation that records- indicate- controls and regulate level- weight- flow- pressure- temperature and position.

· Remove old equipment and responsible for new equipment installation.

· Complete work orders associated with assigned equipment.

· Perform preventative maintenance of all assigned equipment to assure maximum equipment effectiveness.

· Assist in monitoring and communicating specific spare parts needs- utilizing Standard Operating Procedures in the removal and ordering of storeroom parts or supplies.

· Provides solutions to issues or opportunities that contribute to the operation in the areas of Quality- Safety and Productivity.

 

Qualifications:

·High school diploma or equivalency

·Four years as an electrician apprentice or two years as an industrial electrician.

·Two years experience repairing and trouble-shooting high-speed production equipment.

·Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams or blueprint and/or other forms of engineering drawings.

·Basic computer skills and math knowledge

·Good communication skills and the ability to operate well in a team environment.

· The ability to stand on concrete floors for an extended period- climb narrow stairs or ladders repeatedly- work in confined spaces- and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds during the shift.

· The ability to work with minimal supervision.

· Must be able to successfully complete required skills testing.
