Description & Requirements

Responsibilities
 

  • Activate holistic advertising campaigns and marketing strategies that includes Kroger onsite and offsite traffic drivers (including targeted display ads- search- paid social- and acquisition emails) to deliver upon key KPIs
  • Manage day-to-day relationship with our media and agency partners- including overseeing Kroger media budget
  • Partner with eCommerce sales and Kroger stores teams to drive holistic omnichannel strategies
  • Deliver both topline sales- market share and media efficiency targets (Return on Ad Spend – ROAS- Cost per Click – CPC- New-to-Brand Buyers)
  • Interface with both eCommerce sales teams and brand teams regarding search strategy and performance to meet campaign objectives
  • Define search strategy and structure- including keyword and content development
  • Develop detailed media briefs for various initiatives to launch programs that comply with brand guidelines- align with business objectives- and exceed defined performance KPIs
  • Synthesize campaign learnings and communicate data-driven recommendations and best practices to the sales and brand teams on a regular basis
  • Collaborate with the Consumer Insights and Category Management teams to identify growth areas and white space opportunities
  • Develop test and learn innovation plans to continuously drive the business forward
  • Define new product launch and go-to-market plans
  • Continuously pushes the envelope and develops forward thinking strategies and roadmaps as media capabilities evolve
     

Qualifications
 

  • Exceptional communication skills- with experience managing multiple stakeholders expectations
  • Strong presentation skills to internal and external partners- as well as senior leaders
  • Ability to demonstrate individual leadership skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong personal motivation in fast paced- high pressure environment with a bias for action
  • Ability to effectively work independently as well as collaboratively across multiple functions
  • Minimum 3 years of media experience- 5 years preferred
  • Prior or relevant experience in Retail (eCommerce a plus) and/or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) required
  • Media buying experience- DSP- DMP and ad serving/tracking (DCM) understanding preferred
  • Prior media agency experience preferred
