In the role of Network Design Jr. Manager, you will manage simple footprint and perform sourcing projects, identify drivers for assessment and support the Capacity Strat. Plan. Your role is key for the implementation of an assessment and governance process of “Make Vs Buy”.

Key Ingredients:

  • Manage simple footprint and finish good sourcing projects with focus but not limited to Make vs Buy.
  • Understand drivers for assessment (e.g. savings opportunities, strategic fit, relationship with external partners, capacity constraints, innovation, efficiency in the internal network)
  • Coordinate cross functional teams (finance, S&OP, engineering, logistics, procurement) to define scenarios and gather data.
  • Model simple network assessments, draw conclusions and recommendations and participate in business discussions of results and options.
  • Support the Capacity Strat. Plan, including assessment of offload opportunities, scenario planning and modelling of capacity outlook.
  • Support collection of parameters of production assets, shifts, OEE glidepath and DCs, calculate capacity outlook for selected scenarios, and connect external manufacturer landscape to the process.
  • Understand potential solutions given in factory workshops, external manufacturers, and warehouses.
  • Guide and support the Capacity Analyst on business discussions of selected capacity analysis.
  • Define, document, and implement processes for assessment and governance of Make vs Buy.

Recipe for Success: Apply if it sounds like you!

  • Degree in engineering, logistics, business, economics, or related field.
  • Experience of +3 years, with prior work in footprint optimization or strategic planning, supply chain management, or Supply Chain finance in FMCG environment.
  • High degree of practice with modelling tools, experience in SC Guru is a plus.
  • Strong command to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Fluent in English, second language is a plus
