The New Ventures – Growth Manager lies within the UK business in the New Ventures division, reporting into the Head of Growth Platform - Heinz into the Kitchen.

While still part of the Kraft Heinz business, the New Ventures team operates with a start-up mindset to deliver disruptive innovations and build new business models – challenging the status quo to deliver with agility and always driving for creative excellence!

The end-to end ownership (from informing the platform strategy to running everyday operations) and delivery of the Tomato Liberation innovation pipeline (including new product development, communication and media plans) will be your primary responsibility, as a brand and P&L owner.

In brief, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the delivery of long-term strategy to accelerate growth for the Northern Europe business, by leading new product innovations in close collaboration with the cross functional team (product development, supply chain, commercial, sales, legal & regs).
  • Lead and coordinate the work with external agencies to develop and execute new campaigns and content strategies delivering on the full consumer journey across Earned, Own and Paid media. From sending out influencers boxes to developing a new TVc, get ready to get stuck in!
  • Tracking and optimisation of launch campaigns and in market brand performance ~ including 6P analysis, live optimisation and sharing of learnings amongst platforms. Whether in seed or scale phase, test & learn is part of our innovation model.
  • Developing and implementing new design and artwork processes to support new launches and range optimisation, coordinating a cross functional team to deliver OTIF.
  • Project management ~ creation of timelines, follow up of team meeting actions, admin and budget coordination, will be essential to drive clarity and speed of action.
  • Competitors and market trends analysis ~ to identify growth opportunities for Platform expansion and leverage real consumer insights to address pain-points and inspire consumer-first solutions.
  • Building relationships and collaboration with cross-functional teams, agencies, copackers and other stakeholders (internal and external) to drive engagement across extended business.
  • Work with the Commercial Manager to set Price strategy/Volumes/Cost targets/launch timings, etc, for new products, overseeing in collaboration the P&L of the projects.

Qualifications

Hard Skills

  • Language Knowledge: Business proficient English
  • Education: BSc/BA required, MSc preferred
  • Proven progression in marketing functions with experience in campaigns development and launching of new product innovation.
  • Media buying experience is a plus.
  • Track record for supporting delivery of new business models and disruptive innovation
  • Knowledge: 6+ years of FMCG experience or background in Start-ups.
