About the Position

We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Commercial Manager to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Platform Commercial Manager lies within the UK business in the New Ventures division. You’ll be working in an impactful team- alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You’ll be reporting into Lucila Ardalla –Director of Growth Platform. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders and also external customers. Your primary responsibility will be the commercial management of a Platform within the New Ventures business. You will be in charge of growing the new ventures pipeline with customers- doing the job of a category owner and having P&L responsibility.

In brief- you will be responsible for:

  • Commercial strategy and implementation
  • Delivering Platform’s innovations sales with the support of our sales organization
  • Leading the categories and competitive analysis
  • Tracking the innovation (E.g.: ROS- promotions performance- Price- E-Commerce media implementation- Online reviews- etc.) and find ways to boost and grow it
  • P&L- RGM and finance
  • Collaboration with Sales organization- cross-functional teams and collaborators to drive engagement across extended business
  • Demand planning accountability with the support of demand planning team
  • Supply accountability with the support of collab managers and supply teams
  • Define the commercial plans for innovations
  • Work together with the Brand Manager who develops the innovations to set Price strategy/Volumes/Cost targets/launch timings- etc. for new products- overseeing the P&L of the projects
  • Platform point of contact with the NAMs (National Account Managers)
  • Collaborate with Platform Growth Director on presentations to retailers.

Hard Skills

  • Education: BSc/BA required- MSc preferred
  • MBA desired
  • Work Experience:
    • Proven progression in a commercial setting
    • Track record for supporting delivery of new business models and implementing disruptive innovation
  • Knowledge: 6+ years of FMCG experience (commercial- sales- finance experience)
  • Language Knowledge: Business proficient English
