Description & Requirements

About the role:

This role is responsible for managing the  team in delivering end to end functional solutions for all processes in the Operations domain. The lead provides input into project plan- status reporting- management of project controls- ensure quality delivery in their respective area. Responsible for engaging with subject matter experts in the business throughout the project to ensure that the solution will meet business needs.


  • Providing subject matter expertise and business process knowledge in the area of Order to Cash

  • Lead in mapping the ‘Current-state’ or ‘As-is’ environment and documenting business processes within the area of Supply Chain- Logistics and Order to Cash

  • Analyse current business processes in relation to industry best-practice

  • Work with SAP IT specialists to translate Business Processes and Requirements into a fit-for-purpose SAP S4HANA solution

  • Manage multiple stakeholder groups- translating and interpreting business needs into actionable requirements and into deliverable solutions.

  • Provides guidance to internal Business Leads on best practice and process improvements within Supply Chain- Logistics and Order to Cash

  • Support change management activities by assisting with development of training materials- training scenarios- documentation- communication and change impacts.

  • Work with and potentially lead teams of subject matter experts and consultants to support system and process implementation and all required deliverables from initial blueprint through testing and production deployment project phases.

About you:

  • Bachelor Degree is required- MBA or MS is preferred

  • Minimum 10 years functional and technical and functional combined:

    • Experience in leading business and IT team sizes of more than 7 team members in the OTC & Supply Chain workstream of ERP implementations

    • Requirements definition/mapping

    • Solution design and workshop facilitation experience

    • Hands-on development of project deliverables - formal/structured methodology.

    • Applying required configuration changes.

    • Test planning and scenario creation.

  • Solid blend of business and technical capabilities- business operating models and underlying technical architectures

  • Demonstrates advanced process & technical knowledge of the core area supported as well as the areas integrating with their area. Deep understanding of end-to-end processes.

  • Superior relationship management skills (both internally as well as externally)

  • Consumer Products Industry experience desirable.

  • Relevant certifications including SAP Activate and SAP S/4HANA OTC & Supply Chain certifications are preferred - but not essential

  • Experience of leading through and with teams- effectively lead a team- delegate responsibility and hold team members accountable for assignments.
