About this role:

The Accounting Manager - Supply Chain & Fixed Assets is the financial control business lead for the Supply Chain operations and is primarily responsible in the delivery of accurate and timely financials within the group’s controls and defined framework. This role is a key custodian of the balance sheet and plays a pivotal role in maintaining a high level of integrity of the financials.

The role plays a key part during the month end activities ensuring all finance activities are delivered within tight and define timelines. This includes (but not limited to) coordinating and ensuring all journals are posted and reconciliations completed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the accounting for supply chain and operations- including the completion of month end financial close activities to USGAAP and local GAAP.

  • Responsible in the delivery of accurate and timely financials within the group’s controls and defined framework

  • Provide technical advice in accounting treatment- risks and compliances.

  • Champion and lead process and systems improvements- with a focus on optimal efficiencies.

  • Review and provide guidance on contract agreements including but not limited to lease related accounting treatment (IFRS16) and rebates

About You:

  • Undergraduate business degree

  • CA qualified (CA or CPA)

  • Minimum 5 years' working experience in accounting

  • Big 4 or second tier public practice experience

  • Exposure to large FMCG corporate- manufacturing or professional accounting environment.

  • Major ERP system exposure such as BPCS/SAP.

  • Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and principles
