Description & Requirements

Position Summary:

A person who helps businesses plan for their supply needs in the future, which analyse complex data sets and predict challenges or fluctuations in inventory volume and demand. Use creativity and organization to help make supply chains more efficient and to ensure that supply.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Demand monthly analysis and pre meetings and support sign off meeting with Business.
  • Provide insights of any depletions trend variance, comparison with historical behavior, to agree a new forecast with the commercial team. Assemble and analyse all data pertinent to supporting the S&OP / Forecast, through models maintenance (historical sales, trends, open orders, seasonality, promotions, and Distributor inventory).
  • Deliver continuously improve forecasting techniques, method, and approach to make a step change on forecast accuracy - focused on the main SKU in the business.
  • Provide visibility of KPIs: BIAS, Accuracy, Orders delayed and be a support in action plans to improve them
  • Ensure the Forecast Submission aligned w/ organizational Planning and Business cycle
  • Support IBP project implementation being part of the core team as functional expert
  • Support long term demand planning process (Strategic Plan)
  • Plan both short- and long-term to align supply and demand to support inventory needs. Make recommendations on flow considerations
  • Project forward-looking inventory positions and financial implications
  • Monitor weekly and monthly production plans, prioritizing the orders and stock levels and maintain accessibility to information. Anticipating stock demands based on current and future business functions.
  • Build relationships with transportation, warehouse supervisors, and co-workers to achieve higher performance.
  • Prepare detailed reports relating to inventories, availability, back orders, and schedules
  • Stablish weekly and monthly meetings with the internal stakeholders to review risk and opp inventories.

Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Administration, Business, Logistics or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supply Planning
  • SAP, Power BI or similar knowledge is desired
  • Excel advance
  • Experience w/ S&OP or IBP processes
  • Solid understanding of forecasting practices and procedures
  • Understanding of warehouse management procedures
