A ‘Principal Full Stack Engineer’ at The Kraft Heinz Company commits code that impacts millions of consumers and hundreds of businesses around the world. Beyond building microservices through to consumer facing applications.  In this exciting role, you’ll influence our infrastructure as code approach and even our digital product roadmap. A Principal (Associate Director – People Manager) at Kraft Heinz contributes across several other technical activities such as DevOps and quality of the product while working closely with Product Owners (POs) to refine acceptance criteria of stories.

  • Drive product and application innovation with architecture and development
  • Lead teams (major role) and hands on coding (minor role) in .Net, C# and Microsoft tech stack
  • Engage design patterns and architectural principles
  • Support product owner in defining future stories and help define technical designs
  • Build services and applications using some of the latest coding practices and industry standards
  • Create reusable components that enhance the Kraft Heinz-wide “code library”
  • Design and develop the business logic and backend systems to build minimum viable products (MVPs)
  • Work closely with other developers and QAs to understand the system end-to-end
  • Write unit, integration tests and functional automation
  • Develop high quality, well documented, and efficient code
  • Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions


  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering using Microsoft tech stack.
  • 3+ years of Architecture / Design experience
  • Hands-on Tech lead
  • Passionate about sharing your hard-earned wisdom from years of hands-on engineering and architecture experience 
  • Seen as a keen learner within the technical components of the domains/products
  • Experienced with cloud-native architecture, code refactoring, design patterns, DevOps/SecOps, and highly scalable applications
  • Significant experience writing and utilizing autonomous services-oriented RESTful API services and performance tuning largescale apps
  • Expertise with Snowflake and other SQL/NoSQL DBs preferred (e.g. Azure Cosmos, MSSQL, Postgres, etc.)
  • Required technical experience: HTML, Javascript (ReactJS preferred) CSS, Node.js, Python Flask, and other equivalents
  • Preferred technical methodology: BDD, TDD, and working norms: Microsoft VS, GitHub
  • Passion for development and a demonstrated appetite for continual learning, typically manifest in their community contributions (e.g., open-source work, publishing / speaking on technical ideas).
  • Passionate to learn new technologies and strives toward cross-functional development
