Description & Requirements

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Procurement Manager to join our Freshwater office. The role involves negotiating contracts for our capex projects- which usually have a very quick turnaround. The projects will vary depending on what the manufacturing team has decided to prioritize. This is a full time- 12 month contract position.


  • Negotiate the commercial terms- pricing- risk vs price exchange between equipment suppliers- consultants and other providers of goods and services in the implementation of capital projects.
  • Establish knowledgeable- meaningful and transparent relationships with key current vendors.
  • Constantly map and analyse ANZ level expenditure patterns to challenge the current vendor pool and develop new ones by creating economies of scale.
  • Advocate and conscientiously follow KHC corporate finance policy.
  • Establish a customer focused based relationship with Capital Projects team.
  • Acting as an independent agency to ensure the KHC interests are being built into all agreements at a realistic appetite for risk.
  • Leverage our global network to get the best outcomes for the business whether in prices- operational risk reduction as well as ensuring continuity of operations.

About You:

  • Experience with capital investment contracts.
  • 5+ years’ experience in capex procurement
  • Awareness and experience in a heavy industrial environment.
  • Bachelors level degree in engineering or business.
  • Manufacturing background. FMCG- Food advantageous.
  • Can manage multiple projects.
