Description:

  • Responsible for operating, monitoring, & maintaining all ingredient systems, preforming all required product testing, and performing all sanitation activities required. Responsible for additions of powder of any different varieties for Process Cheese per formula and established procedure. Responsible for insuring that all ingredients used are scanned into SAP correctly.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the Safety, Health and Environmental systems and operational standards to ensure compliance as it is outlined in our policies/procedures and processes.
  • Salvages product, as directed, from equipment.
  • Ensures that housekeeping and Kraft quality standards are maintained in the work area.
  • Ensures that correct ingredients are dumped in correct blender to ensure Right the First-Time standards.
  • Dismantles, cleans, and reassembles assigned equipment per Kraft-Heinz standards and Team Leader/Line    Lead/Ingredient Handler direction.
  • Change ingredients as specified by product formula.
  • Completes and maintains all documentation pertaining to correct powder additions, correct holdover, recook, etc.
  • Performs other duties as directed by Line Lead or Ingredient Handler.
  • Must maintain processing equipment by utilizing the IL6S system and settings.
  • Performs variety of maintenance-type tasks such as change-overs, set-ups, pit stops, minor maintenance and adjustments, lubrication, etc.
  • Assist with R&D Trials as needed.
  • Communicate closely with Grinding, Blending, Cooking, and Filling.
  • Responsible for correct decisions and notifying the proper personnel when there are problems.
  • Train new or inexperienced associates.
  • Perform recordkeeping as required on manual, computer and other systems. Includes performance Boards & RAIL items.
  • Accountable for the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) system and operational standards as outlined in the Springfield QRMP accountability document.
  • Assist with removal of trash & recyclables from the Processing rooms.
  • Complete all prestart-up checks that are required.
  • Able to work effectively & efficiently with Ingredient Handler.
  • Provide break relief as needed & directed.
  • Performs all sanitation duties on all Ingredient equipment when needed, including running COP tubs.
  • Perform & document all required Period Cleaning in area.
  • Communicates closely with Cookers, Blending, & Grinding.
  • Maintains all machinery in good operating condition by proper cleaning and lubrication to maximize line optimization and performing a variety of maintenance type functions such as change-over, set-up, minor maintenance and adjustments, lubrication, production programming, etc.
  • Completes required recordkeeping on manual, computer and other systems, including scanning into SAP.
  • Actively participates as a team member.
  • Reports and/or corrects unsafe acts or conditions.
  • Operates material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Performs other duties as directed by Line Leader or Ingredient Handler.
  • Accountable for the Safety, Health and Environmental systems and operational standards to ensure compliance as it is outlined in our policies/procedures and processes.
  •    Understand and apply KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) practices such as 5S, centerline management, shift hand-offs, operational standard ownership/support, problem solving, etc.
  •    Accountable for the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) system and operational standards as outlined in the Springfield QRMP accountability document.

Minimum Requirements:

·Knowledge:  Basic math, reading and communication.

·Working Environment:  Primarily indoors; high temperatures in summer months, humid, wet conditions during sanitation.

Qualifications:

·Able to acquire a fork truck license.

Physical Requirements: 

·Performs bending, squatting, kneeling, sorting, and reaching to both ground level and overhead; lifts, carries, pushes, routinely pulls and moves up to 100 pounds; holds and grips objects; must possess manual dexterity necessary to operate equipment; and disassemble and reassemble equipment.
