Description & Requirements

  • Create and update production schedules with focus on key measures, in collaboration with production area
  • Regularly review and monitor production line speeds, outputs and schedule attainment
  • Regularly review and ensure correct planning of key materials to deliver an uninterrupted supply for production on-site
  • Improve CTP outcomes in conjunction with production
  • Plan and place orders for materials required for upcoming production to be delivered on time to site or 3PL warehouse
  • Regularly engage internal and external stakeholders to ensure constant delivery of materials to site and products to customers, minimising negative impacts on CFR measure % and occurrence of putting SKU’s at risk (below safety stock level)
  • Lead the problem solve & resolution of any material delivery to site as well as product delivery to customers
  • Chair site weekly planning meeting to finalise production plan and determine resourcing level
  • Execute necessary process to identify, manage and escalate excess inventory and obsolete stock.
  • Develop strong communication and partnering links with Supply Planning, Procurement, Warehouse Supervisor, internal and external Suppliers, 3PL, to ensure that Material Planning issues are captured and addressed, and where applicable are escalated within business-wide category planning forum.
  • Support the planning phase of product launches and run outs
  • Provide insights/input for the weekly Gap to SS calls and Monthly SC Review meetings.
  • Ongoing review of the Material Planning Processes and MRP to continuously improve supply performance, sustainability, inventory optimisation and cost.
  • Identify, assess and resolve/communicate process gaps which lead to supply shortfalls or excess stocks and support projects which will eliminate root causes
  • Perform periodic reviews of settings and functionality usage of system (ERP).
  • Partner with Procurement to ensure system and process alignment.
  • Perform assigned tasks in accordance with all Kraft Heinz Food Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Ethical and Human Resources policies, programs and goals.

Required skills, qualifications and experience:

Skills:

  • Strong PC based skills (proficiency in Microsoft Excel)
  • Proven planning & organisational skills
  • Analytical approach to problem solving that incorporates business acumen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Presentation skills to internal & external stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification - Business & Operationally based

Experience:

  • Prior planning experience is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment highly desired
  • Experience in dealing with wide range of stakeholders (both internal and external)
