About the role

Manage Capex investment projects at our successful Tomoana site. With budget responsibility of $600K - $3M- you will work closely with our collaborative site leadership team to deliver multi-functional projects. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage site portfolio of Projects including defining goals and objectives- scope- milestones and deliverables;
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders through regular team meetings- engaging Commercial and Technical stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective delivery;
  • Complete full feasibility analysis- including all aspects of the project- in line with company stage gate process;
  • Align project plan to meet business directives and liaise with key stakeholders; project managers- functional leads and suppliers- demonstrating excellent communication and building strong working relationships;
  • Responsible for timely and accurate submission of cost estimates- plans- risk logs- gate documents- CARs- etc- as required by Kraft Heinz Company (KHC) processes and routines;
  • Apply and- in conjunction with International Capital Engineering Team- strive to continuously improve Project Management Processes to enable effective project completion
  • Document- communicate and manage risks- assumptions- issues and dependencies to avoid project delays or cost overruns;
  • Ensure change management and change control procedures are followed including the escalation of change issues that impact on the fundamentals of safety- time- cost- quality and scope;
  • Support functions to build and deliver a comprehensive training plan for roles to be impacted within the projects (e.g. Operators- Team Leaders- Engineers- QA- EHS- Logistics).

About you

With a strong track record of successful project delivery within an FMCG Supply Chain environment- your ability to build trusted relationships coupled with your strong problem solving skills- will ensure your success in this role. You will have:

  • Ability to navigate the complexity of delivering significant change within existing large-scale manufacturing sites and greenfield locations- with dependency on multiple internal functions and third parties;
  • Strong experience in Capital Project Management roles with budget responsibility of >$2MM;
  • Exceptional planning and organising skills;
  • Effective communicator at all levels- from shop floor to board level- relaying information in a timely manner- with excellent interpersonal- influencing and leadership skills;
  • Knowledge- experience and gravitas to make recommendations and gain support of very senior stakeholders;
  • Outstanding presentation skills and ability to conduct effective meetings and presentations with large teams;
  • Creative and pragmatic problem solver;
  • Financial awareness to enable accurate assessment of project performance and business cases- including investment appraisals and profit and loss accounts;
  • Project Management certification is desirable (e.g. Prince2- PMBoK (PMI)).
