Description & Requirements

This role is key to the effective deployment of the Portfolio Strategy, in line with the IBP framework. It involves the successful execution of product-related projects involving NPD, Value Engineering, Portfolio Simplification, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Optimisation, and Transformational projects.

Responsibilities:

Support Program Manager with relevant Program and Portfolio reporting, continuous improvement, training material, etc.

Responsible for managing lower complexity projects end-to-end, including:

  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring alignment with organisational goals
  • Oversee project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, making adjustments as needed
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and manage expectations
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing proactive solutions
  • Foster effective communication within the project team and across departments
  • Ensure quality standards are met and deliverables are on schedule
  • Ensure planning, readiness, and compliance to applicable project governance processes, such as Stage & Gate

About you:

  • Educated to Bachelor's degree level in a related discipline

  • 3+ years’ experience in the Food Industry will be advantageous

  • Project Management / Commercial / Operations / R&D experience advantageous

  • Strong time management skills, reliable and adept at managing conflicting priorities

  • Can balance tactical day-to-day activities with a side of bigger picture strategic thinking

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills combined with strategic business focus and vision

  • Strong collaborative management style, with an execution and result-oriented focus

  • Strong influencing skills, stakeholder management and collaboration 

  • Able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously & to develop priorities for self and members of project team
