Description & Requirements

Quickly, accurately and professionally perform product testing.  Areas of responsibility include all in-process labs, main labs, quality auditing and lab equipment maintenance.

  • Perform product testing as outlined in Kraft specifications. 
  • Collect and enter data into Unilab. 
  • Work with Quality Supervisors to ensure that all products meet Kraft specifications, which may include analyzing data trends and charting data.
  • Maintain laboratory systems including the configuration and set up of products into Unilab.
  • Maintain calibration program on all laboratory equipment. 
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on lab equipment performance, identify problems and recommend and/or implement technological changes to improve reliability.
  • Work with vendor support services in performing routine preventative, repair or predictive maintenance tasks on laboratory equipment.
  • Enter and track work order requests for Quality Department.
  • Support and perform microbiological tests and swabs as needed.
  • Support lab supply ordering and inventorying as needed.
  • Support scheduling and overtime coverage as needed.
  • Perform lab housekeeping duties.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

Complies with all company rules, policies, procedures, and programs. Maintains company standards for housekeeping in everyday work routine. Plant GMP/PPE Compliance Accountable for the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) standards as outlined in the plant’s QRMP accountability document, including the implementation, improvement and ongoing maintenance
