Base Salary Range: $85,400.00 - $106,800.00

Target Total Cash Range: $106,750.00 - $133,500.00

Target Total Cash: Target total cash represents this role's annualized cash earning potential at target (base salary + target bonus). Target total cash is contingent on targeted company performance achievement and individual attainment of performance goals. Therefore, target total cash is not guaranteed earnings.

Description & Requirements

The Retail Sales Manager is accountable for delivering against Perfect Store through the development, planning, and execution of Retail Execution plans at retailers within specific span of control across geographic and/or national customers.

This position will preferably be based in the Denver, Colorado area due to Customer connectivity.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Lead Division strategic and execution discussions to drive indispensable partnership and growth at division level

  • Define retail execution priorities through collaboration with Customer Business Team (CBT) and in alignment with Perfect Store

  • Evaluate Store performance to develop routing recommendations and optimization

  • Drive transparency of retail execution impact to the CBT through communication of results, pre/present/post event performance, and critical store level insights

  • Collaborate and align with CBT and/or broader Retail Execution team on action plans to course correct as needed

  • Lead 3rd party (Empire) communication and discussion via cadenced calls reinforcing strategic and executional priorities for Kraft Heinz throughout the year

  • Train Empire Supervisors and in-store reps on Kraft Heinz and CBT knowledge: product knowledge, playbook utilization, competitive set, seasonality, etc.

  • Establish relationships with key collaborators within CBT or 3rd party – sharing updates on upsell opportunities / wins at divisions and gaining alignment / support where needed

  • Use data and benchmarking to see opportunities and implement action plans that impact results including frequency, coverage, response rates, training or product knowledge

  • Communicate competitive information to CBT and Retail Execution leadership

  • Drive consistent approach and continuous improvement to simplify workstreams, identify and share standard methodologies, and deliver efficiencies

  • Accountable for staying within planned cost structure (i.e. coverage model hours)

Expected Experience & Required Skills

  • Seasoned years of proven consumer package goods industry experience or similar experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

  • Self-starter, great motivation, open to change and out of the box/creative thinking

  • Strong sales, finance, category planning and/or analytical background

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including reporting and presentation skills

  • Excellent organization and project management skills

  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction

  • Savvy with business intelligence tools/software (ex. IRI, Stratum/Market 6, Spark, Reveal, Tableau, and Budget Management)

  • Ability to effectively summarize complex information upwards and influence sales leadership to drive appropriate action.

  • Strong at forging internal/external relationships and commanding trust/respect of others.

  • Superior Execution – willingness to roll up sleeves and execute key initiatives in a timely manner

  • Knowledge of Kroger and broker environment

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Work Environment & Schedule

This is a Remote role with periodic travel or visits (30%) to external locations; offices are open workspaces. Additionally, this role requires working a salaried, exempt schedule to best execute against customer and internal expectations

Physical demands include but not limited to

  • Willingness to drive and/or travel as needed 30%

  • Operate a computer and view screens for ~100% of work schedule

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment
