Description & Requirements

The Sales Coordinator will be one of the many main points of contact for the AWG Customer Team- providing contract creation support- file/report maintenance and management of the Customer A/R process. The AWG team is centrally located in Lenexa- KS with a large base of sales professionals working across 20+ states. This role would report to the SR. Manager of A/R and Procurement and will routinely interact with Customer Sales Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete customer contracts for Kraft/Heinz merchandising events – Ads/EDLC/TPRs
  • Work with CSM’s to ensure contracts are completed in a timely manner
  • Revise contracts weekly where applicable due to programming changes
  • Ensure the 6 key contract elements are included on every contract
  • Enter merchandising activity into required customer portals and update as needed.
  • Handle bill payment process for assigned customers
  • Receive invoices from customer
  • Log all bills within payment trackers and pass invoices along to 3rd party payment team
  • Verify payments made in timely fashion
  • Handle Customer A/R
  • Communicate with the customer and third-party bill-pay representatives to quickly and accurately clear compliant bills off the customer A/R. Investigate or dispute billings determined to be non-compliant and gain customer resolution.
  • Manage reporting as assigned (shipments- withdrawals- and customer specific reports- etc.)
  • Use ADW- VMI Reports- IPRO system- and Spark.
  • Verify accuracy of all reporting
  • Use customer portals for pulling reports supporting business building activity for the team
  • Assist 3rd Party payment team with special assignments as assigned
  • Researching invoices and settling validity
  • Review Trade deal payments
  • Handle file maintenance & compliance for audit purposes
  • Guard against erroneous reporting and submissions through proof-reading/cross-referencing
  • Leading additional customer team support assignments as requested.


  • 1-2+ years of relevant experience
  • Must have strong Excel skills and be proficient with other M.S. Office applications (i.e.- Word- Power Point)
  • Ability to learn new computer applications as necessary
  • The ideal candidate will be self-driven with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to serve as the guardian of accurate and timely reporting
  • Strong interpersonal and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and competing deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills (written/oral) both internally and with the customer.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
