Work Schedule:

Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays        5:15pm-5:30am             

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Required to periodically check in on team members and ensure tasks are being completed efficiently and ensuring breaks are allotted to everyone not preceding the maximum 30-minute break period
  • Each production day check the schedule for lines and areas that need cleaning.
  • Daily scheduling of sanitation team members.
  • Train and monitor sanitation team members in correct cleaning procedures.
  • Scheduling of Weekend routine cleaning tasks and reviewing of the schedule to ensure all tasks are completed and ensure sufficient work is scheduled to each team member
  • Document completion and effectiveness of cleaning duties with the use of verification forms, checklist, and ATP swabs.
  • Perform all ATP swab, Allergen & pH testing, and rinse water testing on required equipment.
  • Assist sanitation team members with cleaning duties.
  • Preform any cleaning duties and CIP washes as needed
  • Troubleshoot and initiate improved cleaning procedures where cleaning verification needs improvement.
  • Maintain all chemical cage inventories and notify management if supplies are needed.
  • Keep chemical cage area clean and organized.
  • Responsible in ensuring periodic sanitation schedule is completed on time.
  • Schedule and assist in the completion of cleaning duties on Master Sanitation Schedule.
  • Review completed paperwork and forward to supervisor for final review
  • Complete Shift pass downs daily between oncoming and going sanitation lead and operators
  • Assist in developing and maintaining Sanitation Operation Work Instructions (SOWI's) for each cleaning process.
  • Perform monthly SOWI audits for accuracy & compliance.
  • Forward all completed paperwork to Sanitarian for review.
  • Fill in for other lead personnel when needed.
  • Requires thorough understanding of sanitation process.
  • Required to learn and demonstrate ability to Grade 11 sanitation role and complete any task expected of that grade.
