We are looking for an enthusiastic sanitation supervisor for our sauces factory in Elst. As Sanitation Supervisor you will lead a small team of cleaning operators and support the Cleaning & Sanitation Manager in implementing the cleaning programs. You will provide training to production personnel on the line and facility sanitation. We are looking for someone who is eager to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the field of cleaning and sanitation in the factory.

What are you going to do?

• Implement the Kraft Heinz Sanitation Program throughout the Manufacturing Plant, together with the Cleaning & Sanitation Manager.

• Manage the technical liaison between plant, headquarters, chemical supplier and any third party sanitation provider.

• Manage a team of 3 cleaning operators, including all leadership responsibilities:

  • planning and scheduling

  • having performance- and development conversations

  • managing absenteeism

  • providing day to day help and feedback to the team

• Ensure compliance to Kraft Heinz Quality Management System & Kraft Heinz Sanitation Program.

• Provide training for production personnel on line and facility sanitation.

• Ensure efficient use of labor, chemicals, tools and equipment to ensure cleaning meets the internal and external requirements.

• Ensure compliance to Occupational Health & Safety and Kraft Heinz Environmental Safety programs. In addition, provide a safe working environment and safe employees.

• Contribute to Continuous Improvement, projects and validation for Sanitation program at factory level.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in microbiology or sciences. Other degrees will be considered with significant experience in hygiene

• Minimum Basic Food Hygiene Certificate

• Experience in the food industry or similar high-risk industry

• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, ability to talk to and involve personnel at all levels

• Demonstrated ability to solve problems, report information/findings, develop recommendations and implement changes

• Strong leadership with proven ability to gain strong results through a team

• Self-starter with drive and initiative to meet and exceed demanding objectives

• Available to work in the weekend or outside office hours for occasional validations and/or pre-ops checks

• Fluency in Dutch and English
