Description & Requirements

A Scrum Master at Kraft Heinz helps support the development team and product owner in delivering incremental value each sprint for the products. They are knowledgeable in scrum and are able to educate others on Agile methodologies and practices. They remove impediments and act as a shield from external distractions. They create a safe working environment for the team and are an innovator who constantly seeks continuous improvement and builds higher performing teams.

  • Coach self-organizing team and work in partnership with Product Owner to help deliver on the vision and purpose
  • Facilitate all the agile ceremonies including daily standup meetings- planning sessions- retrospectives- and demos
  • Utilize ProjectNOW tool to ensure all projects are properly documented and have been reviewed and agreed upon by all appropriate stakeholders
  • Initiate the finished good Masterdata setup and communicate completed information to all stakeholders so all information systems can be properly set up to produce- ship- sell and invoice our products
  • Apply techniques for effective workflow visualization and management (e.g. scrum boards)
  • Work with Product Owner to prioritize the projects based on their strategic and financial viability
  • Develop strong partnership with the Product Owner to gain a strong understanding of the objectives to help support in the management of the backlog
  • Identify work that may be blocked and support in the escalation to the applicable stakeholder
  • Support the transition from waterfall project management behavior towards agile mindset
  • Liaise with managers and leaders on agile behaviors
  • Ensure teams actions are aligned with the project goals and vision in the organization
  • Ensure Scrum practices are used and improved within and across teams
  • Identify trade-offs between short- and long-term benefits to drive shared vision between the team and product owner.
  • Facilitate large group discussions
  • Support a collaborative working environment where the team feels free to share ideas and build relationships
  • Leverage a continuous improvement mindset to help challenge the team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; MBA an asset
  • 5+ years’ experience implementing with the agile methodologies in the workplace
  • 3+ years’ experience working as a Scrum Master- serving on two or more teams
  • Working knowledge of operations and basic supply chain principles
  • Experience with SAP and related systems to commercialize new products
  • Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) or Certified Scrum Coach (CSC) an asset
  • Knowledge of relevant domains/products/journeys and track record in successful delivery
  • People Management- an asset
  • Design Thinking certifications- an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to guide the team to pivot around organizational roadblocks to challenge existing timelines
  • Ability to negotiate and influence both internal and external stakeholders
