Description & Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own financial analysis of pricing and promotional related efforts for assigned product categories:
  • Review and analyze current brand investment strategies and implementation in market and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Track implemented recommendations and analyze post promotion assessment of trade investment
  • Assess & improve return of trade investment via frequency/depth optimization recommendations
  • Partner with BU Category- Sales- Marketing and build P&Ls for various promotional scenarios as requested.
  • Create analysis/insights for trade promotions optimization and influence BU cross-functional teams in executing the promotions strategies - requires a high degree of business acumen and experience to independently do the analysis- put together the decks- and sell stories to BU sales- BU marketing and BU finance.
  • Lead monthly routine of guardrail and guidance exception and over-budget requests through partnership with BU sales and BU finance; independently analyze the requests and provide recommendations to BU Head of Sales and BU CFO.
  • Own trade funding in system- and coordinate with sales team and customer teams to ensure it accurately reflects committed funding to customer teams.
  • Build out tools- processes- insights- and systems capabilities associated with promotion
  • Provide support for ad-hoc trade related projects and analysis as requested


  • Bachelor of Science in a quantitative field (i.e. Economics- Mathematics- Finance- Engineering- Accounting- etc.) is preferred
  • 2-4  years of experience in Investment Banking- Private Equity- Consulting- Corporate Finance- or Accounting- preferred
  • Proven capability to manage large sets of data in MS Excel
  • Demonstrated strong accounting and analytical skills- as well as broad business acumen
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence and sell recommendations internally
  • Must be a strong team player who is able to work across multiple functions and disciplines
  • Systems knowledge a plus: IRI Unify/ Nielsen- SAP- Regression Analysis- Market Track- promotion evaluation tool- Tableau/Power BI- etc
