Description & Requirements

Position Summary

The Senior Analyst- Global Corporate Communications & Issues Management is a valued consultant and support team member to the business leaders within Kraft Heinz. This role is responsible for helping to develop and implement global corporate communications plans of all kinds – public relations- B2B & B2C media relations- with a focus on corporate affairs- issues communications and reputation management. Reporting to the Associate Director- Global Corporate Communications and Issues Management- the individual in this position will be a key member of the company’s Global Corporate Communications team. This role will partner with team members and key company stakeholders to plan and execute corporate communications initiatives (e.g.- media statements- media interview and speaking engagement preparation- communications editorial calendars- planning for corporate storytelling) in areas including but not limited to Diversity- Inclusion & Belonging (DI&B)- Environmental Social Governance (ESG)- Executive Visibility- Financial Communications/Earnings- M&A activities- Risk Management and Labor/Government Affairs. This person will help build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to help drive best-in-class communications for Kraft Heinz. This person will also ensure that all communications reflect the Company’s core values and advance Kraft Heinz’s business strategy.

Primary Responsibilities

  • This person will support the evolution of the Kraft Heinz global corporate communications initiatives- including assistance in corporate storytelling- ESG and DI&B initiatives- executive visibility plans- media relations- financial communications and crisis management.

  • Support team in building and activating a year-round ESG communications strategy- working in concert with ESG and communications team members.

  • Support proactive Executive Visibility plan development and execution; collaborate with Zone Communications leaders to ensure an integrated approach. Includes development of media engagement plan to book executive interviews/media stories.

  • Serve as communications experts on corporate (B2B and B2C) projects and programs as part of our Company strategic transformation. Verticals of focus include Financial Communications- ESG- DI&B.

  • Support the launch of a corporate brand narrative and sustain the story focus through all communications activities. Includes development of corresponding messages and materials for senior executives- including briefing documents and editing corporate talking points.

  • Financial communications support to assist in developing content that can be used by the corporate team and Zone teams to amplify financial news (e.g.- earnings infographics).

  • Research and build a Company spokesperson speaking engagement and conference attendance plan.

  • As necessary- recommend appropriate communication vehicles and methodologies to drive desired behavior and more effectively reach target audiences. 

  • Support team with media relations activity- including development and maintenance of News Engine tools and systems and proactive and reactive media management.

  • Manage relevant agency/partner/vendor relationships.

  • Spearhead a communications effort that will instill a sense of urgency- cohesiveness and teamwork in Kraft Heinz’s workforce and inspire confidence and credibility among stakeholders.

  • Ensure that all communications reflect the Company’s core values and advance Kraft Heinz’s business strategy.


Domain Expertise

  • 5+ years of working experience at a global consumer organization or communications agency.


  • Experience in a corporate communication role

  • BA in Communications or equivalent
