Description & Requirements

Position Summary

This Sr Analyst position spans across advertising- product development- packaging- and trade & consumer promotions- all the way to manufacturing. The person in this role leads cross-functional teams of colleagues from sales- operations- research & development- and quality. The Sr Analyst builds and executes plans to deliver on annual and longer-term financial goals- all while managing the day-to-day needs of the business. And- to bring the brand plan to life for consumers- this person will collaborate with our retailer partners to drive category growth. 

Key Components of the Role

  • Contribute to the development of short- and long-term business and marketing plans for assigned products/brands.
  • Contribute to development and execution of the Annual Operating Plan for respective categories.
  • Analyze business performance- identify actions needed- and administer action plan on key metrics (market share- volume and revenue trends and drivers- competitive performance).
  • Administer driver-based business forecast modeling and provide inputs to actuals review and forecasting processes.
  • Support and administer development of brand/product innovation through current and alternative brands.
  • Administer program execution and advancement of near in commercialization.
  • Provide recommendations on future brands and products based on broader competitive set.
  • Steer tactical marketing communications programs and/or promotional brand activities.
  • Administer advertising and promotional budgets.
  • Manage relationships with licensed partners in the respective brand/product space.
  • Maintain close contact with sales- manufacturing- and distribution functions to sense business conditions and trends.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business- Marketing- or related field
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience (prior experience in marketing required)
  • Understanding of consumer culture- interests- attitudes and trends
  • Excellent organizational skills- self-starter and ability to meet deadlines and balance competing priorities
  • Accurate and timely reporting with drive to improve and streamline processes
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
