Description & Requirements

Senior Associate Brand Manager- Platform Strategy & Innovation

This role will sit on the Strategy & Development team in the Meal Foundations & Coffee division and be responsible for helping build a strategic growth plan for the division. This includes leveraging consumer insights- future trends & competitive analysis to identify whitespace growth opportunities & build out breakthrough innovation platforms. This role will also serve as an innovation process champion for the division. The SABM- Platform Strategy & Innovation is a key enabler to help Meal Foundations & Coffee build and deliver on our strategic commitments.

Key Components of the role 

  • Lead strategic analysis and build growth roadmap across MFC businesses
  • Lead development of whitespace breakthrough innovation opportunities based on consumer insights
  • Work with consumer insights team to identify and prioritize platform-specific consumer needs
  • Identify relevant trends that will impact MFC over the next 5-10 years and incorporate into roadmap
  • Coordinate with Equity & Platform teams and GM teams to ensure breakthrough innovation projects meet brand guidelines & P&L requirements
  • Champion innovation rituals and routines and ensure vision is clear and work is on strategy
  • Champion agile innovation process across the division

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required- MBA preferred
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in consulting or marketing for an established or startup CPG company
  • Demonstrated ability to influence teams and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding verbal- written and interpersonal communications skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strategic capability and experience in marketing plan development; situation assessment- strategy and tactical plan development
  • Experience in cross-functional team management
  • Ability to handle simultaneous projects and deliver in agreed upon timelines
