*Please note- there are two(2) opportunities available as a Sr Brand Manager. One supporting the Cheese portfolio and the other supporting the Lunchables portfolio. Please specify which opportunity you would like to pursue.*

Senior Brand Managers are leaders in our business. Your responsibilities will span across strategy- innovation and renovation- agency management- P&L and financial ownership- as well as near and long-term strategic planning and development. This position defines the brand's pricing- packaging- trade merchandising- advertising and promotion strategies and is accountable for delivering the brand's profit- volume and market share goals.

This position is best suited for someone who is strategic- consumer focused- data-literate- creative- organized- has a strong bias for action and excellent communication. This person must be comfortable working both horizontally and vertically across the organization to keep multiple projects moving forward to successfully achieve deadlines and organizational KPI’s. You turn product ideas into iconic brands on the table.  

Key Components of the Role

  • Bring a growth mindset to help develop near and long-term strategies that create consumer demand for the brand portfolio.

  • Leverage consumer insights to develop multi-year 1YP/5YP and strategic vision for the brand- highlighting key tactics to drive growth such as innovation- renovation- comms.

  • Drive organizational influence and resource prioritization to bring 1YP/5YP to life.

  • Own foundational brand pillars and steward the brand in all areas of the organization including activation planning- shopper marketing- comms- PR.

  • Be an owner- liaison- and gatekeeper of brand strategy- guiding internal and external partners to ensure all efforts executed across the marketing mix (including comms- shopper marketing- PR and ecommerce) bring our brand purpose to life.

  • Lead in development and execution of the Annual Operating Plan including defining the brand's portfolio pricing- packaging- trade merchandising- advertising and promotion strategies and allocating the support and budget accordingly.

  • Lead in the execution of marketing initiatives in support of long-term strategies through leadership of the cross-functional team.

  • Monitor business performance across key metrics (Market Share- Revenue- HHP- Buy Rate- etc) and identify actions needed in support of the brand’s strategy and key performance indicators.

  • Lead collaboration around driver based forecast modeling- Demand Review and inputs to monthly business planning routines.

  • Own the P&L and drive accountability for delivering profit- volume- and market share objectives.

  • Oversee analysis and reporting of performance across various key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Steer cross-functional commercialization team to deliver product and packaging changes- including quality improvements- cost reductions and new item launches.

  • Lead negotiations on new product opportunities or developments within set timelines and budgets.

  • Collaborate with BD&E to develop strategic growth driving customer programs across retail and ecommerce.

  • Provide field sales tools- materials- and training on brand/product introductions or enhancements- as well as new marketing/sales campaigns- to achieve sales objectives.

  • Coach- develop- and motivate the team to own specific processes- targets- and deliverables with specific focus on dotted-line managerial relationship with one team member.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in marketing or finance for an established or startup CPG company.

  • Operates with a sense of urgency

  • Strong leadership and drive for results

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strategic capability and experience in marketing plan development; situation assessment- strategy and tactical plan development

  • Understanding foundations of the P&L and Forecasting

  • Experience in cross-functional team management

  • Ability to handle simultaneous projects and deliver in agreed upon timelines

  • Experience with 360 marketing campaign development

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment
