Description & Requirements

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be a technical contributor on one of our agile, cross-functional teams – disrupting from inside of a global powerhouse. You will help build our next generation of advanced analytics products using AI, Data Science, and Machine Learning. Within the Supply Chain domain, you will design, develop, and implement solutions to problems related to product distribution, transportation, warehousing, and outbound logistics for our acquisition of “Green Stock” or cucumbers for production of pickles/gherkins. You will work independently on modeling projects from experimentation to production, acting as a key contributor to your Digital team and the broader Supply Chain digital roadmap. Furthermore, you will:

· Implement systematic approaches to deliver value-add solutions in partnership with a trailblazing team of data engineers, analysts, developers, and operations experts.

· Explore various supply chain datasets and contextualize events by joining with data from elsewhere in the organization

· Gain expertise in supply chain processes, identifying data availability, location, and robustness

· Create repeatable, interpretable, dynamic, scalable models at the heart of new statistical products.

· Engineer new features and test various modeling approaches by using your domain experience to develop industry-leading analytical products.

· Develop intuitive code and collaborate with ML Operations teams to deploy solutions to production

· Show the value of AI-embedded decision-making

WHO YOU ARE

· You have a Bachelor’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or Statistics with 5+ years of experience.

· You have experience implementing AI algorithms in Python, and you are able to quantify and articulate the value of the models you develop with tools like Streamlit.

· You are proficient in leveraging Big Data technologies like Snowflake and Spark to perform data wrangling and exploratory analysis

. You are comfortable synthesizing inquiries to subject matter experts in supply chain to get clarity on data and process questions and sanity-check results

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES

- Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience implementing AI solutions to problems in the Supply Chain or Transportation domain

- You have experience with the following modeling methods: clustering, multivariate regression, time series forecasting, classification, NLP, anomaly detection

- You have worked on the following supply chain use cases: fulfillment prediction, network/lane optimization, carrier performance differentiation

- You are familiar with terms such as: CFR, transportation mode, shipments, LTL, outbound vs inbound, OTIF, deliver appointments

- You have worked with computer vision to detect anomalies in a production or procurement process.

 

- You have contributed to client-side interactions for technical workstreams and helped build presentations for senior leadership

- You own your career development, dedicating time to learning new technologies in the market and growing your domain expertise

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment
