Description & Requirements

Position Summary

The Senior Finance Manager- Away From Home (AFH) & Kraft Heinz Ingredients (KHI) is responsible for the full P&L for KHI- including both category and channel oversight. This role is also responsible for execution of Budgeting & Business Planning (BBP)/FP&A activities as well as Revenue Management responsibility for the Ingredients Channel. This role works as the key link between the General Manager of KHI- the Sales- Marketing- and Finance teams- and reports directly to the Head of Finance – KHI.

Responsibilities

  • Lead FP&A for KHI- with oversight over all categories and customers- responsible for understanding and influencing both revenue and cost drivers (full P&L responsibility)
  • Planning and forecasting process- including Monthly EVP- EVP Offsite- AOP
  • Performance reviews- regular MPRs as well as ad hoc requests- developing gap solve strategies including:
    • Tracking all KHI ZBB packages (more than 10)- providing visibility and developing gap solve action plans
    • Set pricing strategy and assess pricing requests for all categories; support system troubleshooting (SAP)
  • Cross-Category analytics on pricing actions including:
    • Define growth rebate strategy- in partnership with sales and marketing- understanding trade offs and setting / controlling Balance Sheet accruals
    • Structure and improve internal processes - planning- performance reviews- pricing
    • Constantly track cost fluctuations in highly commoditized (diary) categories- responsible for providing updates in Estimate to FS BU leadership- identifying opportunities for improvement
    • Execute risk management strategy in partnership with Risk Management team
  • Support discussion with BU leadership on the execution of Risk Management activities including supporting implementation of IT projects and improvements of IT systems.
  • People management responsibility of 1 manager-level team member

Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree required- MBA strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Finance- preferably in a commodity-driven market
  • Deep financial knowledge across multiple disciplines including FP&A- pricing- cost forecasting- accounting- financial modeling- CAPEX assessment- and cashflow evaluation
  • Understanding of commodity markets (especially Dairy) and management of corresponding risk
  • Familiarity deploying and managing IT systems- especially as this relates to internal routines
  • Familiarity with contract assessments as a key reviewer
  • Experience in people management preferred
