Description & Requirements

Position Summary

The Senior Finance Manager- N.A. Process Controls will review and provide improvement of key supply chain finance processes and controls across the North America Zone.  This will include the translation of business policies into actionable activities for business controllers (mainly factories).  This Senior Finance Manager will also be the point of reference of technical knowledge for processes and policies- as well as making sure internal controls and audits are being tracked.

Responsibilities:

Establish benchmark expectation of the design of key supply chain finance processes

  • In keeping with Global and local Kraft Heinz policies- establish expected process design and define what equates to a strong controlled supply chain function

Review current ways of working across North America Zone teams against expected benchmark process

  • Build rapport with business units to understand local processes and procedures across North America
  • Document end-to-end processes; decision points- teams involved- risks/what could go wrong- mitigating control activity or “checks” in place
  • Identify key gaps between benchmark processes and current ways of working

Develop actionable project plans to address any identified gaps and risks- in collaboration with local teams

  • Business partner with regional supply chain teams and factories to ensure plans are reflective of local business environment and team capacity; agile and actionable
  • Identify risk on pro-active basis where possible- and implement stronger processes and reporting

Measure and monitor progress against improvement projects

  • Tracking mechanism for measuring and monitoring the degree of implementation progress- and proactive identification of potential risks to agreed implementation plan

Advocate for process change

  • Develop and drive a culture of continuous improvement and change across supply chain functions
  • Deliver proactive and effective communication related to improvement initiatives- liaising with key local leadership and stakeholders to keep them informed of progress and to make relevant decisions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance/Accounting
  • Strong business acumen- interpersonal- communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong Technical and Systems orientation as well as exhibits strong analytical- written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player who manages collaboratively with the ability to influence management- in some cases without authority
  • Ability to influence cross-functional team members while manage conflicting priorities of team members to ensure results are delivered on time
  • Motivated self-starter who can effectively work under pressure
  • Possesses the ability to lead teams and effectively work through others

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment
