Base Salary Range: $83,400.00 - $104,200.00

Target Total Cash Range: $104,250.00 - $130,250.00

Target total cash is contingent on targeted company performance achievement and individual attainment of performance goals. Therefore, target total cash is not guaranteed earnings.

Description & Requirements

Position Summary:

Under the leadership of the Head of Finance for Global Agriculture and Seed- this position leads the financial planning and reporting processes for the Global Agriculture & Seed business and is responsible for maintaining the integrity of all financial policies- maintaining internal controls- establishing operating budgets- and accurately forecasting and reporting financial performance. The position shares the responsibility for the financial performance of the business and therefore must drive accountability and search for ways to bridge any gaps.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage the HeinzSeed ERP system- ‘MS Dynamics‘. The responsibilities within this system include:

    • Purchase Orders and Work Orders

    • Inventory Transactions

    • Standard Costs and Bill of Materials

    • Accounts Payable

    • Account Receivable

    • Customer and Vendor setup

    • Monitor Sales

    • Month End and Year End system closure

  • Prepare and analyze production variance reports

  • Inventory control responsibilities and duties plus inventory transactions

  • Coordinate and reconcile the annual physical inventory

  • Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations

  • Prepare monthly reports for management reviews- sales- spending- production

  • Review weekly payroll to ensure proper allocation

  • Coordinate and consolidate annual spending budgets

  • Zero Based Budget analysis and entry

  • Support all departments with cost and financial evaluations and analysis

  • Local IT support as needed in conjunction with corporate IT

  • Special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting- Finance- or related field

  • Minimum of 3 to 5+ years of experience in cost and financial accounting within a Manufacturing environment preferred

  • Good understanding of General Accounting and Cost Accounting principles

  • Proficiency with Excel- Word- PowerPoint- and SAP

  • Microsoft Dynamics systems experience preferred

  • Strong analytical- written- verbal communication skills- including reporting- presentations and technical learning agility
