Description & Requirements

Summary:
This is a Global role where the Senior Financial Analyst is expected to support the Global BU/HQ functions in identifying and resolving variances between the internal financial reporting tool (SST) and external financial reporting tool (HFM). The senior analyst is expected to lead the variance analysis discussions- propose solutions and recommend solutions by working with local regional controllership teams- the FP&A teams and IT.


Responsibilities:

  • Work with Global BU/HQ Functions in identifying and resolving variances between Financial Reporting systems
  • Support month-end close reconciliation of internal financial reporting system (SST) to external reporting system (HFM) globally
  • Support and execute financial restatements
  • Assist in the implementation and execution of Global Controllership projects
  • Participate in Data Governance Council meetings – where data changes to Financial Reporting Systems are presented and approved
  • Team player who supports both onshore and offshore teams with requests/questions


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance- Accounting- Business Administration- or related field required.  Additional relevant certifications are a plus. Such as CPA- CFA- or CMA
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • ERP systems knowledge required; SAP is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel as well as knowledge in Oracle/Hyperion financial tools is a plus
  • Understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial statements
  • Strong organizational skills – proven ability to organize others and plan actions to meet deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to work and think independently- interpret and exercise professional judgment- and creatively problem solve.
