Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst- North America Sales Finance provides financial support for the assigned customer accounts. The analyst supports the Senior Finance Manager to deliver against annual team performance objectives. The Analyst leverages their analytical skills to drive success against Kraft Heinz revenue and trade investment strategies that deliver Net Sales and Gross Margin growth. The PPM will work closely with senior management within the customer team and the field sales teams to determine and control drivers and drags of financial performance. This position will assist the finance manager ensuring strong financial controls and proper trade budget management practices are in place and adhered to on a consistent basis. The right candidate must have strong analytical abilities- systems/financial tools agility (SAP- Excel- PowerPoint)- a sense of urgency and strong organizational skills. This role provides the candidate an opportunity to further develop both short-term and long-term planning- financial analysis- and strategic thinking / planning skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the finance manager in annual sales planning and forecast Processes by delivering data driven insights to help teams optimize plans and deliver on both Net Sales and Gross Margin objectives.
  • Ensure financial controls by participating in monthly trade reconciliation and budget management process
  • Monitors shipments vs. consumption (inventory) monthly to track customer changes and associated impact to year-to-go business plans
  • Partner with Customer Category Managers (CCMs) to maintain accuracy of internal trade systems (Compass)
  • Partner with Genpact to ensure timely and accurate payment posting including Write-Off / Post-Audit reconciliation
  • Supports sales in all checkbook maintenance tasks such as event actualization- updating sales planner/merch calendars and overspend tracking and resolution

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business- Finance- Economics or related field
  • 2+ years of experience with proven track record of delivering results in sales- finance- analytics- or shopper insights (Sales and/or Trade Promotion experience strongly preferred)
  • Solid analytical skills and ability to quickly learn analytical modeling tools and techniques
  • Disciplined approach toward execution- attention to detail- and ability to navigate within large and complex data environments
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Strong Excel skills with experience in manipulating or analyzing syndicated data
  • Superior interpersonal skills (written- verbal- presentation)
  • Ability to effectively summarize complex information
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain flexibility in an ever-changing environment
