Dedicated cost modeling specialists will support category teams- which enables fast model development- standard quality- and upgrades over time.

What you’ll do

As the Senior Manager- Cost Activation- you will develop concrete product improvements within our value engineering and brand design to value approach- targeting projects contributing to build innovative product ideas. This role will focus to improve efficiency and effectiveness by working to develop products and services that fit company needs- are produced with attractive margins- provide platforms for add-on offerings- and improve the reputation of the brand for future business growth.

This role will lead a team of Cost Modeling Associates- as well as coordinating the collection- analysis and reporting of data from various sources to support strategic sourcing- supplier engagement and reporting needs within the Procurement pod in support of the company’s vision.

  • Provides broader PMO support
  • Defines and supervise key efficiency indicators using data analytics techniques
  • Owns and supervises measurable impact of the program
  • Keeps category teams accountable
  • Supports category teams with mentoring on how to use DR Assets/Tools
  • Ensures that the tools are being rolled out and used
  • Provides required training for the category teams
  • Supervises number of active users

Who you are

  • Master of Science in Electronics- Engineering- or other applicable fields
  • 8+ years of experience in product development related functions- including product cost optimization- product design- value engineering- DFMA- R&D prototyping- supplier management- negotiation- target cost setting
  • Demonstrated analytic and quantitative skills with the ability to structure and solve problems
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively with people at all levels in an organization
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing – in English
  • Strong business acumen
  • Willingness to travel
