About the role:

The Senior Manager- Accounting to Report /Management Accounting leads the Australia- New Zealand global business services operations for the GBS ATR/MA scope.  This role is responsible for delivery and execution of the GBS ATR/MA ways of working to comply with the global playbook and compliance to local regulations.  The Senior Manager- ATR/MA is a key leader of developing continuous improvement strategy- while maintaining cross-functional alignment with key functional/business stakeholders. The Senior Manager- ATR/MA will serve as a key member of the Australia and New Zealand Global Business Services (GBS) management team- promoting a culture of Executional Excellence- Process Excellence- Innovation and Business Value.

Responsibilities:

  • Main point of contact between KHC and GBS ATR & MA teams
  • Provide effective leadership to BPO team
  • Own GBS and Kraft Heinz Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) & Reverse SLA’s and drive actions plans to maintain and improve performance on both sides
  • Drive issue resolution – tracking issues & actions ensuring resolution
  • Translate business Objectives and strategic direction into actions- taking full responsibility for the ongoing process improvements & efficiencies agenda
  • To work closely with the GBS Global Solution Owner (GSO) to ensure that the optimal process is being followed

Financial Controlling

  • Own key ATR & MA processes- bridging between both GBS & KHC e.g. intercompany invoicing- statutory accounts- HFM reporting.
  • Own key design elements of all processes- seeking input from KHC
  • Take full responsibility for implementing the statutory accounts solution with GBS ATR
  • Take full responsibility for the GBS Audit by Statutory Auditors- covering all GBS functions – as necessary designing solutions & solving issues
  • Oversee SOX testing schedule and deadlines
  • Provide expert insight- and back up support for KHC Controllers
  • Own business support for ATR systems e.g. HFM- Blackline
  • Create and review Global/Local policies and implement processes to ensure adherence within GBS
  • Lead Monthly Performance Reviews between KHC and GBS

Commercial & Supply Chain Finance

  • Work with BU CFO and Controller to set the focus for GBS ATR/MA organisation
  • Drive standardisation of reporting across all countries
  • Maximise use of Global KPI tool within routines- delivering Automation
  • Approve and oversee knowledge transfer related to scope changes
  • Manage GBS transformation lead priorities- track progress and own delivery

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required- MBA is preferred
  • CPA qualification
  • Post graduate certification in GBS is preferred
  • Fluent in English
  • 10+ years in financial accounting environment
  • Stakeholders Management experience at multiple levels of the organisation
  • Experience leading teams in matrix and complex set ups
  • Exposure in leading Continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience leading big transformation initiatives
  • Focus on client and service mindset with a commitment to a high level of customer service
