Description & Requirements

We are seeking a skilled and experienced resource with end-to-end process & system knowledge in Tax Accounting skills in the S/4Hana technology set to join our team. In this role- you will manage the overall implementation of Global Tax calculations- reporting- and compliance integration and provide SAP solutioning expertise. You will work closely with senior stakeholders in business & IT and drive design workshops together with SI partner in requirements gathering- dispositioning of the requirements- and solutioning. 

Hybrid Schedule Required: Tuesday- Wednesday- Thursday in Chicago- IL or Pittsburgh- PA office.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Successfully implement Global tax solutions& integration between regional ERPs to Central Finance instance. Also providing functional expertise- hands-on delivery- review customization needs- presentation- and training on SAP incoming and outgoing payment functionality. 

  • Working with the Tax groups Globally for requirements gathering. 

  • Integration of external tax engine. 

  • Define the tax determination rules. 

  • Gather local tax reporting requirements for Sales- Use- and other taxes. 

  • Gather requirements and design the reporting needs for the Global Income taxes. 

  • Map business requirements- processes- and develop KDDs for fit-gap analysis and WRICEFs recommendations to meet business needs 

  • Conduct complex and interactive solutioning workshops with the Global Tax team- Global Business Services- and Controllers group. 

  • Utilize strong knowledge of SAP implementation Activate methodology or other SI partner methodologies. 

  • Roadmap new capabilities and engage stakeholders to build the benefits case. 

  • Manage the internal & external project resources and also manage the RUN phase team for production support as a product owner for the Receivables space. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Have at least one full lifecycle implementation experience of S/4 Hana as a core member of implementation and experience working in SAP S/4 Hana or ECC versions. 

  • Possess strong functional knowledge and technical expertise in Tax Technologies (Vertex & Other Global solutions) 

  • Showcase in-depth knowledge of system configurations- Global tax compliance & reporting needs.  

  • Exhibit expertise in key mapping- business mapping- and cost object mapping framework for data replication from source systems to CFIN system. 

  • Strong business process knowledge and experience in business process blueprinting. 

  • Deep understanding of SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT) and SAP Application Interface Framework (AIF) as part of Central Finance. 

  • Certification in S/4 Hana or CFIN certification a plus 

  • Experience in managing a team/direct reports.

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment
