  • This is a role for someone who craves a global challenge balanced by the desire to be accountable for delivering against the model in the largest business unit for Kraft Heinz.  It is both a strategic and a tactical position.  Those that do not want to get their hands dirty or build out a function against a blank slate without buying pre-packaged solutions should not apply. 


The position of Sr. Manager- Workday Platform Lead – Rewards will have responsibility for creation and management of the Rewards roadmap in support of the broader platform strategy. You will leverage your knowledge of Workday and deep understanding of the target market / industry to build close relationships with key stakeholders including the product owner(s) and HR zone leads to ensure that the team’s effort is aligned with the overall strategy.

A Platform Lead manages dependencies with other team’s functions while identifying- building- and managing strategic partnership across the different teams. They are accountable overall for effective and accurate requirements gathering so that solution design primarily leverage out-of-the-box functionality that promotes scalability- sustainability- and simplicity. They also work closely within their team to ensure business value and user feedback is translated into new enhancements and requirements- as necessary. The Rewards Platform Lead will be accountable for specific business KPIs / outcomes based on the area of the product they are focused on at Kraft Heinz.

This role will also be expected to be a super user of Workday Community- ensuring we are leveraging to its full capacity. This would include identifying and communicating key webinars/training to the broader team- obtain best practices from other Workday customers and training others on how to utilize to obtain strategic insights and maximize our investment.


  • Bachelor's degree in technical field
  • 3-5 years of experience working with Workday
  • Workday certification(s) preferred.
  • 3-5 years of project management experience- solid understanding of project management principles preferred
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle- past software development experience would be ideal
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident and skilled at guiding the team through organizational roadblocks to allow Sprints to be completed on time
  • Experience with establishing relationships across IT and business teams
  • Understanding of key HR concepts and processes
  • Experience with ServiceNow Agile 2.0 is a plus
  • SAFe experience is a plus


  • Set ambitious and clear rewards product strategy and vision and align it effectively with the product owner and key stakeholders
  • End to end team output strategy from inception to production
  • Keep current on new functionality/features/capabilities of Workday and market trends
  • Work closely with stakeholders and include industry best practices to architect technology solutions needed to drive alignment of business needs and lead discussions to arrive at mutually agreeable solution options
  • Accountable for product specific KPIs once solution enters production and communicate regular tracking of key performance metrics to stakeholders against product strategy and vision
  • Utilize market and industry knowledge to work with the agile team to translate user needs into user stories- acceptance criteria- and requirements for their team. Maintain a backlog 3 to 4 sprints ahead of the team
  • Works closely with the product owner(s) to establish each product’s business value and support messaging- communication- and customer outreach as needed
  • Is a key role on Agile team(s) and works closely with the agile team- leveraging Agile @ Scale and SAFe methodology
  • Lead- plan- analyze- execute and track project scope- schedule- budget and quality for various project delivery cycles.
  • Be an escalation point and provide project management support for key global projects.
  • Align key decisions with key business stakeholders and leaders.
  • Proactively manage risks and resolve issues affecting release scope- schedule- budget and quality
  • Deliver project plans- commitments and changes including business requirements- QA plans- schedule- and scope changes
  • Maintain project status reporting
  • Manage external vendors to deliver on time- on budget and within scope.
  • Responsible for planning and directing the work of a group of individuals between teams at different locations- monitoring their work- and taking corrective action when necessary.
  • Ensuring clarity around priorities and goals for the entire functional area
  • Communicating financial and goal results and key performance indicators to leadership.
